Halifax Music is a documentary on the teaching methods of the Music Department of the Halifax School Board. Many of the basic concepts originated with the Hungarian composer Kodaly. Musical education is continuous from the primary grades through to Grade XII. The film tours the various classrooms, demonstrating methods and results, and shows how learning and enjoyment go hand in hand.
