How Canadian-built Black Brant rockets are being used by scientists of the National Research Council of Canada in studies of the atmosphere at altitudes of from 65 to 800 km above the earth's surface. The film shows the firing of the 3000-pound Black Brants at Fort Churchill, Manitoba, and explains their usefulness in studying the aurora and the ionosphere that surround the earth.
