The Walls Come Tumbling Down
This film shows the rampant demolition of older buildings in Montréal to make way for the new glass towers that nobody seems to want. It describes the efforts of individual citizens and citizens' groups to stem a brutal activity camouflaged by the name of progress. Development is tearing out great chunks of the older parts of our cities, robbing the citizens of tradition and a low-rise environment.
