Description
This action-filled account of the national role of the Canadian Armed Forces shows how specially trained units may be called upon to assist the civilian authorities when the need arises. An air-sea rescue, a search in dense bushland, bomb disposal, building an Arctic airstrip, fixing an underwater oil leak - some examples are tense and dramatic, others are more routine, but all show highly skilled men in action in their peacetime capacity.
