Strathyre is the name of the hand-built log cabin in which Nora and Colin Mackenzie settled in 1913. Two grandsons search out the homestead and try to revive the past. Their visit is supplemented by the memories and snapshots of Nora Mackenzie, now 81, who lives in Scotland. This film evokes a golden period in British Columbia history.
