Solutions: Canadian Transit Technology
Canadian cities faced a choice: build up car support systems or expand and improve public transportation. This film is about the second alternative. It shows how Canadian expertise, design and manufacturing have helped to decongest and revitalize city centres in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver by providing exciting solutions to passenger travel. The Kingston Transit Centre is shown testing a high-speed light-rail train. Subway systems, double-level trains, sea buses, and third-rail self-propelled trains meet specific needs.
