Description
The story of Europe's gradual descent into war in the fateful year of 1939. While the statesmen of Europe appealed to the Nazis with reason, armament factories in every country increased their production to meet the growing threat of German aggression, a threat which culminated with the invasion of Poland. (A revision for Canadian audiences of Lights Out in Europe produced by Arthur Mayer & Joseph Burstyn Inc. of New York.)
