This film explores Canada's Mackenzie River country from Edmonton, gateway to the north, all the way to the Arctic Ocean. First travelled by Sir Alexander Mackenzie in 1789, the Mackenzie is one of the world's great rivers. Its significance in the development of the Canadian north is shown.
