Description
This film shows facilities at the National Research Council's Churchill Research Range at Fort Churchill, Manitoba, which are being used to study the aurora and other upper atmosphere phenomena. The film shows Canadian-built 3000-pound Black Brant rockets being launched to study the aurora at altitudes of 40 to 130 miles.
