Birds of Canada No. 4
Top of page
Description
A study of three Canadian birds, the spotted sandpiper, the sora rail and the Barrow's golden eye. Sketches of these birds reveal the identifying features of each; summer and winter ranges are indicated on a map of North America. Close-up photography shows the birds on their eggs, the eggs hatching, and the young chicks venturing out into the big new world of reed, rock and water around them.
