Flashing neon lights and lavish advertisements present a façade of high-powered come-ons to lure would-be car owners through the gates of any one of sixty used-car lots along Toronto's Danforth Avenue. Fred Davis provides the voice of experience as he lists some of the do's and don't's in selecting a used car. A perfect illustration of what he means is given by a couple who are taken in by an unscrupulous dealer and soon come to grief over their purchase.
