Angela is a writer of romance novels, which she painstakingly produces on an ancient manual typewriter. Her sister presents her with a word processor, but Angela is less than enthusiastic. When Dennis, the programmer who installs the equipment, tells her that the computer can actually generate stories, Angela is dismayed and becomes even more set against it. But true to the form of one of her novels, she and Dennis fall in love and, ironically, the computer helps to bring them together.
