Tired of routine, a man decides to change his life by becoming a painter. Using his wife and daughter as sources of inspiration, he lets his imagination run wild. The first things to emerge are a tribute to beauty and an expression of his love. Then, almost inevitably, fears and hates flow from his brush onto the canvas. Aspects of aging and war appear, as do old memories. As the portraits appear, the painter's itinerary takes some strange detours. Each face becomes a landscape into which he dissolves.
