A look at three aspects of the Canadian Artic. First, the changes in traditional Inuit life that came about as a result of European exploration of the north are examined. The climate and geographical make-up of the region are their shown followed by a look at the relationship of plants and animals to their Artic environment. An enriched videocassette version of the sound filmstrips Discovery and Exploration of the Arctic, The Nature of the North and The Arctic Biome with added visual material and graphic animation techniques.
