Growing Up in the World Next Door
This film about growing up in the Third World profiles three teenagers from the age of twelve to eighteen. Bikas is from a small village in Nepal; Michael is from Kenya and Patsy is from St. Vincent, an island in the Caribbean. They talk about their goals, their aspirations and hopes for the future: dreams which are not so different from those of teenagers in North America--a job, a family and home of their own.
