Interviews with director Donald Brittain are interwoven with the best of his documentary films in this series. The subject of Hitler's memorandum: the solution to the Jewish problem. Bernard Laufer, a Jewish Holocaust survivor from Toronto, takes his son on an emotional return pilgrimage to Bergen-Belson. The film is not a horror show of mass graves and gas chambers. It is about what could happen anywhere, and how easily we forget.
