Un autobus tombe en panne. Huit femmes dont la moyenne d'âge est de 71 ans se réfugient dans une ferme déserte. Pendant quelques jours, elles n'ont que leur humour, leurs souvenirs... et quelques cuisses de grenouilles rôties pour subsister. Elles apprennent à se connaître et deviennent rapidement complices. Avec des actrices non professionnelles et des dialogues improvisés.
