Christians have cathedrals, Muslims their mosques. For Native Canadians used to praying in natural settings, all the world is a sacred space. Smudge follows three Aboriginal women who celerate their right to worship in their own ways - drumming, singing or using sweetgrass - spiritual practices that may seem at odds with a busy city.
