The Black Sheep - Ten Years Later - DVD
What is the future of Quebec and how can it be built? With these questions in mind, filmmaker Jacques Godbout set out to make a sequel to his epic documentary The Black Sheep, which captured the mood of Quebec in 1992 after the demise of the Meech Lake Accord. At the time, Godbout had filmed five young politicians for a full year: Michel Bissonnette, Denis Coderre, Mario Dumont, Joseph Facal and Jean-François Simard. Eleven years later, what have they become? The documentary shows that the issues that emerged from the Quiet Revolution are no longer so pressing, and politicians of all stripes must adapt to new realities. An uncompromising film that takes stock of the ideologies and politics of Quebec. In French with English subtitles.
