Canada Vignettes: A Love Story/Canada Vignettes : une histoire d'amour
Description
Together
for the first time on DVD, these 36 vintage gems are from the NFB Canada
Vignettes series, which marked a whole generation of Canadians who grew up
with television. Made in the late seventies and early eighties, these very
short animated films and documentaries introduced us to different aspects of
our country’s rich history and culture. Who can forget such classics as Faces,
Delta Plane, Log Driver’s Waltz and Trading Post?
These short films feature subtle humour and remain surprisingly fresh despite
being over 30 years old. Make yourself comfortable as you take a trip down
memory lane with quick lessons in Canadian history (Fort Prince of Wales,
Bill Miner) and portraits of Canadian personalities (Roger Doucet,
Stunt Family).
