National Film Board of Canada names Shirley Vercruysse Executive Producer of Pacific and Yukon Centre

Vancouver, January 31, 2014 – Shirley Vercruysse has been named as the new Executive Producer of the National Film Board of Canada's Pacific and Yukon Centre, based in Vancouver, effective February 10, 2014.

Vercruysse has served in Canada's arts and cultural industries for almost three decades, both in film and television production as well as the non-profit cultural sector. She worked in independent production for 14 years, previously serving as a partner in Burns Films, with writer-director Gary Burns, where she produced such acclaimed works as waydowntown and the NFB co-production Radiant City.
