McMahon Kevin
In his personal and highly stylized films, Kevin McMahon practises a sort of contemporary anthropology, reflecting on the myths and history that have shaped North America. Following studies in literature, drama, journalism and film, he worked as a journalist, created radio essays, authored a book, and produced films for both theatrical release and television.
His first short films, The Zoo and The Chance were followed by four feature documentaries, The Falls, In The Reign of Twilight, Intelligence and the recently completed three-hour Cod: The Fish That Changed The World. His films have been widely praised and have received numerous awards.
