In the event of an aircraft emergency in the vicinity of an airport, the 1-Alpha alert simultaneously sets in motion a series of well-rehearsed procedures designed to evacuate the injured as quickly as possible. This short film uses an airplane-crash simulation to demonstrate the efficiency of emergency rescue operations at Toronto International Airport. However, the 1-Alpha procedures are readily adaptable to any major life-threatening situation.
