Snapshots from the new ways of life of a Netsilik family, a few years after their relocation to the settlement of Pelly Bay. The mother cooks and makes traditional boots, the father carves and goes to church, the daughter plays with a white doll and goes to school. Mostly in Inuktitut. (1972) Natsik Hunting (7 min. 52 sec.) Inuit director Mosha Michael pays tribute to the beauty and wonder of the seal hunt. He is one of the singers on the breezy, folk-inspired soundtrack. Inuit filmmaker Mosha Michael takes us on a cod-fishing and seal and caribou-hunting trip, showing how the prey is caught and how Inuit families make use of all parts of the animals. (1977)
